Butcher

At Kredl’s we want you to see where your meat comes from. All our chicken, beef, pork, lamb and turkey is non-medicated, local and pasture-raised, other than our pork which is free-run (raised indoors without cages). Additionally, we buy whole animals. Nothing comes in boxes or big vac-pac bags. To make our operation even more transparent, the new butchery has a great big window so everyone can see what we do.

Top Sirloin Steak

Top sirloin is a cut of meat from the primal loin, subprimal sirloin, of a beef carcass. Top sirloin steaks differ from sirloin steaks in that the bone and the tenderloin and bottom round muscles have been removed; the remaining major muscles are the gluteus medius and biceps femoris (top sirloin cap steak).

Roasts

Roast Beef refers to a cut that has a chunky shape – often like a cylinder or cube. Roasts can have a range of sizes cut to suit you, from 1 lb Quick Roasts to 10 lb or more. They come with a range of tenderness and require one of three basic cooking methods. All three are super simple and totally tested!

Striploin Steak

The strip steak is a cut of beef steaks from the short loin. It consists of a muscle that does little work, making the meat particularly tender, though not as tender as the nearby rib eye or tenderloin.

Lean Ground Beef

Ground beef, beef mince, minced meat, hamburger is a ground meat made of beef, finely chopped by a meat grinder. It is used in many recipes including hamburgers and cottage pie. In some parts of the world, a meat grinder is called a mincer.

Kredl’s Sausage

Peameal Bacon

Peameal bacon is made from boneless pork loins, short cut from the leaner portions of the loin, to ensure a more uniform product. External fat is generally trimmed to within 1/8 inch (3 mm). Smokeless and tender, this product is sweet pickle-cured and rolled in a traditional golden cornmeal coating.

Pasture Raised Chicken

Pastured poultry is a sustainable agriculture technique that calls for the raising of laying chickens, meat chickens (broilers), and/or turkeys on pasture, as opposed to indoor confinement. Humane treatment, the perceived health benefits of pastured poultry, in addition to superior texture and flavor, are causing an increase in demand for such products.

Pork Chops

A pork chop is a chop of pork cut perpendicularly to the spine of the pig and usually containing a rib or part of a vertebra, served as an individual portion.

Pork Tenderloin

The pork tenderloin also in some countries called pork fillet, is a cut of pork. It is often sold as prepackaged products by large grocery stores. They are available plain and flavored with a marinade.

Pork Roast

Like pork chops, there are many cuts that get sold as “pork roast.” What binds them together is that they are all cuts that turn out well when baked in the oven.
